Our client is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to join their Computer, Networks and Infrastructure (CNI) team. Under the guidance of the CNI Manager, you’ll take the lead in strengthening enterprise security, managing risk, and driving continuous improvements to cybersecurity systems and protocols.
As an IT Security Analyst, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and enhancing the organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure. You’ll monitor threats, lead incident response efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as a key advisor on security best practices across departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of the Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity tickets; act as primary escalation point.
- Be available for critical incidents outside standard hours (on-call 24/7 as needed).
- Manage and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security tools.
- Monitor, log, and correlate security events across all systems and sensors.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams to implement secure practices.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches and threats.
- Lead cybersecurity awareness training for staff across the company.
- Ensure third-party vendors comply with internal data protection policies.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of security policies and compliance standards.
- Stay up to date on emerging threats, security trends, and technological advancements.
- Generate security reports to evaluate the organization’s security posture.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
- 2+ years securing Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong experience with penetration testing, SIEM, and threat detection tools.
- In-depth understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities and strategic mindset.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Mentorship or training experience is a plus.
