Role Summary
We are seeking a driven and experienced Residential Solar Advisor – B2C Sales to support solar system sales in the Okanagan region. This hybrid role blends inside and outside sales responsibilities, including in-home consultations, site assessments, system design, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with a strong background in solar or technical sales, capable of managing the full sales cycle while maintaining a focus on customer service and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead residential solar sales initiatives and engage directly with homeowners.
- Conduct on-site consultations, site assessments, and needs analysis.
- Develop and present custom solar system proposals and quotes.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract close.
- Maintain CRM and digital records accurately.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive revenue growth and improve processes.
- Represent the company at networking events and industry functions.
Performance Expectations
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail in customer interactions.
- Maintain a proactive, organized, and independently driven approach to your territory.
- Continuously seek improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in solar, technical, construction, or electrical sales.
- Familiarity with tools like Scanifly, OpenSolar, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms is an asset.
- Physically capable of climbing ladders and performing roof assessments.
- Available for occasional evening/weekend meetings or events.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Strong alignment with the values of sustainability and renewable energy.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment (2+ days in office).

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, with flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed.
- Hybrid work environment (minimum two days per week onsite).
