TM8 is currently recruiting for the following sales representative vacancies:
1. Pre-Sales Consultant/ Technical Account Manager
*First year target earnings = $90-95K (Base + commission + incentives)
We are seeking a top-performing, independent and entrepreneurial Pre-Sales Consultant for our client.
The ideal candidate must be interested in being a part of a growing and exciting company with a great product. You should also be excited at the prospect of having a voice, providing input, and providing leadership in a young, yet stable organization. If you are looking to be a cog in the wheel of a large corporation, then this is definitely not the role for you.
The role’s primary function is to interact with prospects and customers to ensure a successful transition of prospects into customers and help ensure successful implementation. You will address all inquiries regarding the technical aspects of the software suite.
This will include:
- Answering technical questions via email or phone
- Conducting technical scoping calls
- Conducting web demonstrations of software products
- Help customers realize tangible and quantifiable benefits from product suite
- Assisting prospects through the trial download period
- Ensuring that prospects are set up for successful implementation
- Monitoring customer success post-sale
Skills and experience required:
You MUST have 3-5 years in a highly technical and customer-facing role for an enterprise software vendor, likely in a pre-sales capacity. You will also have 2-3 years of pure B2B sales (full sales cycle) experience in tech. You will also have the numbers to prove you are truly a top-performer.
A familiarity and working knowledge with the concept of dashboards is desired, as is the ability to be comfortable in a start-up environment. This role extends through the entire sales cycle and into product management. An ability to add value to all aspects of the enterprise software sales cycle, from demand generation through to account management and customers support is desired.
Web 2.0 is transforming the way in which the world expects to access, consume and enhance information. The successful candidate must be interested in and knowledgeable of how these transformations are affecting the way prospects and customers interact with software vendors.
